Biography
Alessandra Ambrósio now is one of the models more requested in the world. Besides participating in campaigns and fashion shows, she made her premiere in the movies, making a participation in James Bond last film.
She was discovered at a school of models and her first work was the cover of the magazine Caress, in 1996. Then she did the cover of the magazine Marie Claire, an editorial for Guess?, as well as other works for Girl and Revlon. She has already modeled for I Split, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Nicole Moleiro and Oscar de la Renta, and she photographed for Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Glamour, among others.
Alessandra is part also of the select group of great Brazilian models that they starred Victoria's Secret campaigns, one of the largest lingerie brands and one of the campaigns more longed for by a lot of models. She is considered that the model receives 800 thousand dollars annually of Victoria's Secret. In her contract with the brand is stipulated that the same can use the model at least a hundred days a year, for that, Alessandra travels at least twice a week. In spite of affirming that she adores the model life, Alessandra admits that one of the best parts is the money, that she invests in immobile. She bought a two-story apartment in Manhattan, appraised in two million dollars, her second immobile in New York and the room that she acquires, therefore she is already lady of an apartment in Florianópolis and it is finishing a house in Erechim. Besides, she acquired a land in Conceição's Pond, where she says that intends the rest to live, after retiring.
