Biography
When Ariela Masosotti was 17 years old, she left her hometown to work as a model in São Paulo. But, as she wasn’t satisfied, when she was 19 years old she changed her area to dramaturgy. That was when she took an actress course in São Paulo and decided to move to Rio de Janeiro, where she soon got a test at Rede Globo’s actors workshop, “I had barely finished my classes and I got a paper on Bang Banb soup opera”, she remembers. On the seven o’clock soup opera, she played the innocent Brenda Lee. By the end of Bang Bang, she had a small part on Malhação, and then she moved to Rede Record chanel to star the teen soup opera Alta Estação, where she starred the serie’s protagonist. In 2008, Ariela was back to Rede Globo in the soup opera Ciranda de Pedra, playing the antagonist Otávia Prado, who tries in every way to steal her sister’s boyfriend.
